The power of vulnerability By Brené Brown

Brené Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity.

Within Tai Chi, this makes me smile, know oneself, opening up to yourself then leaving yourself open to let others in, is a scary thought.

I would rather die sat on my white horse than fall off in shame.

The Anatomy of Trust

An overview of the seven elements of trust,

Boundaries, Reliability, Accountability, Vault, Integrity, Nonjudgement, Generosity,

Acronym BRAVING is a helpful check list for trust issues with people in our life. Breaking down the attributes of trust into specific behaviours allows us to more clearly identify and address breaches of trust. I love the BRAVING checklist because it reminds me that trusting myself or other people is a vulnerable and courageous process.
