Ensure there is continuity of movement at all times.
There are no full stops or pauses in Tai Chi.
As one movement stops the next starts, as one movement starts the next stops.
Moving like a river so you do not become stagnant like a pond.
If you stop it is like leaving a door open so too much thinking can take place and you end up with “to many minds” leaving an opportunity open for another to take advantage of you and move before you.
